Charles Nordhoff and James Normal Hall

Charles Nordhoff (1877-1947) and James Normal Hall (1887-1951) were American authors who met during World War 1 and most famously went on to write the Bounty Trilogy. Both Hall and Nordhoff spent time on Tahiti in French Polynesia and there is museum dedicated to Hall in Papeete who lived most of his life there.
